For the 18th time, Lebanon will mark Fete de la musique on June 21 with concerts in Beirut, while additional shows will be staged in the capital and around the country in ensuing days.Each venue will host different musical styles – from pop, rock, blues and hip-hop as well as psychedelic shaabi, electronic Oriental or dark disco.Held worldwide every year on June 21, Fete de la musique was launched in Paris in 1982 . While ground zero for its Beirut iteration is also June 21, additional locations in Beirut and around Lebanon have been hosting musical events since June 16, continuing through June 25 .Batroun celebrated Fete de la musique on June 16 and will do so again on June 23 .
