An Australian lawmaker said Friday he was stunned to have grabbed the attention of stars of the U.S. television series "Veep" by laughing so hard at an episode of the political satire that he choked on his sushi and knocked himself unconscious on a kitchen bench.News of the Member of Parliament's plight, reported in The Australian newspaper Thursday, drew an incredulous response from "Veep" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus."Veep" showrunner David Mandel told Buzzfeed he apologized to Perrett and to Australia.Perrett has admitted to watching two "Veep" episodes since his accident, but he said he's learned a lesson.
