The atmosphere of excitement and expectation built up as Beirut fashionistas, designers, influencers and journalists gathered for the start of the first L.I.P.S. Management's Designers and Brands fashion show Monday.Bejjani was accompanied by his well-known couture designer wife Charlotte Licha. The evening before the spectacle unfolded, the very same space – although yet to be transformed – hosted a gala dinner to celebrate the launch of the first edition of Designers and Brands, a fashion project that brings together 29 designers shows – Bejjani's and Alathery's among them – from nine countries over three days. The Designers and Brands project, conceived and organized by L.I.P.S. Management, the Lebanese event management company specialized in fashion and beauty with the biggest network of models in Beirut, aimed to create "back-to-back" fashion shows where the maximum number of designers and brands can be hosted within a short period of time. This motivates all the designers, not just the well-established ones represented in the event, such as the Lebanon's Haute Couture designer Rima Bohsali.Next year's show will also bring in "three stars" from the Beirut Young Fashion Designers competition, a platform L.I.P.S. Management created to highlight young designers.
