Lebanese security agencies uncovered a plot targeting Egypt's Military Field Hospital in Beirut's district of Cola, security sources told The Daily Star. The sources said that security agencies have now compiled a list of potential targets. Both Lebanese and Arab security forces fear that the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in south Lebanon will be the scene of security troubles, especially in light of the incessant flow of terrorist fighters into the notorious area which is inaccessible to Lebanese authorities. The sources explained that terrorist fighters who are fleeing the battles in the Syrian border region of Qalamoun are seeking refuge in the mountainous outskirts of the northeastern town of Arsal, heading into the urban area and from there into Lebanese territories, with Ain al-Hilweh being their favored destination.
