MP Paula Yacoubian Monday accused the Free Patriotic Movement of organizing an online smear campaign against her with help from a member of the Sabaa Party, of which she was formerly a member. During a news conference, Yacoubian played a video showing her former driver being filmed by a member of Sabaa's Executive Committee, Elie Abdel Nour, after which Nour gives the former driver a sum of money. Yacoubian was recently kicked out of the Sabaa Party for, it claimed, ignoring its main legislative agenda, not criticizing all political camps equally and failing to disclose all her personal holdings. The video appears to be the one filmed in the footage Yacoubian shared during the news conference.Dagher, who said he had spoken about the incident with Nour, said that the former driver had been close with Nour, and may have sought his help recording a video to voice his opinion on Yacoubian.
