In memory of the assassination of Rafik Hariri, on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, 100 youths from the north, south, Beirut, the Bekaa, and Mount Lebanon followed Rafik Hariri's footsteps in Downtown Beirut, reaching Nijmeh Square to gather around his table at the Etoile Cafe and start a conversation applying the international concept "World Cafe".Upon their discussions, they realized how several aspects of the country began changing positively from 1993, a year after Prime Minister Rafik Hariri formed his first government. They also noticed the rising trend that the state of Lebanon followed until 2005 and how after the assassination of Rafik Hariri some momentum was kept in a number of sectors, while it slowed down or decreased in others. Consequently, the youth noted the fluctuations of numbers before, during and after Rafik Hariri, and how the immobilization in the state of Lebanon challenged the sectors to evolve in the past few years.
